St Aloysius College Higher Primary School organized Inter-Faith Prayer Service on 12th November in the School Auditorium.
The Prayer dance staged by the students, PTA members and teachers brought the audience to a prayerful atmosphere. The Headmistress, Mrs Josittta Noronha welcomed the gathering. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries to give a start for the Prayer Service. This part of the programme was led by Mrs Anita Pais and Mrs Veena Menezes. The Singing Club students of the school joined the Prayer Service with melodius hymns. The PTA members, Mrs Reshma Bhat, Mrs Sabeeha Fathima and Mrs Leena D Souza read the Holy Scriptures from the Bhagavathgeetha, Quran and Bible respectively and thereafter they gave a commendable reflection of the scripture readings.
Mrs Celestine Vaz introduced the speaker of the day Brahmakumari Vishveshwari with her befitting words. Brahmakumari Vishveshwari who has dedicated her life to Brhama Kumaris World Spiritual University addressed the gathering with the concept ‘One Humanity, Many Faiths’. Teachers, Mr Liya D Souza, Mrs Ashwini K, Mr Harish and Mr Padmanabh put up a skit emphasizing religious harmony. The harmony dance by our students added extra glamour to the show. Mrs Anita Pais thanked all who were responsible for the success of the programme. Mrs Irene Pais neatly compered the entire programme.
ಸೌಹಾರ್ದ ಕೂಟದ ವರದಿ
ದಿನಾಂಕ ೧೨.೧೧.೨೨ ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ೧೦ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲಾ ಸಭಾ ಭವನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವ ಧರ್ಮ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದ ಕೂಟ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಸರ್ವ ಧರ್ಮದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಥಿತಿ ಗಳಾಗಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರಿ ವಿಶ್ವೇರಿಯವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಧರ್ಮಗಳ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳ ಸಾರವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮಗಳು ಮಾನವ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕಚ್ಚಾಡದೆ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆಯಿಂದ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಬಾಳಬೇಕು . ಶಾಂತಿಯ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಗಳಿಂದ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಒಂದೇ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ಕಿರು ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವಾಯಿತು. ಪೋಷಕರು , ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿತವಾದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ನೃತ್ಯ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು.
ಈ ಸುಂದರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪೋಷಕರು , ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು. ಶಾಲಾ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೊಸ್ವಿಟಾ ನೊರೊನ್ನಾ ರವರು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಪೈಸ್ ರವರು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೆಲೆಸ್ತಿನ್ ವಾಸ್ ರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಥಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಐರಿನ್ ಪಾಯಿಸ್ ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು . ಶಾಲಾ ಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು.
